This is CKEditor V4.11.1
On this page I have moved the menu so that it is underneath the header.
Well, we got this working at last.Nothing wrong with CI really, it is just remembering that most of the time you are working with objects where you use $object->method rather than $array['value']
You also have to think about views, controllers and models and passing the relevant values from one to t;other. In particular, the page ID has to be maintained . I don't think I have this optimised yet, but now I have got this sort of working, I can play with it. And though it feels like you are adding extra steps when reading / writing the database, the view page is now very simple.
The pictrures are courtesy of CKFinder, which I have not used before. You get a message across the top of the CKFinder screen saying "This is a demo version of CKFinder3" but apart from that it seems fully functional/
The dialog box which CKEditor displays for the image insertion does not have the "Title" attribute for the image. It certainly used to. Why did they take that out in a later version ? Maybe I should be using the full version. I'll try swapping th over and see what happens. fgnhjd tehyue yyu y5r pkew mlokpjkerf k[p[
Some text in the left hand celll.. Pictures are always a problem with CKEditor. Latterley I started using tables to hold text and pictures together. It sort of works as you can see - but I do not know how to get rid of the space at the top and bottom of the pictures.
Got it - you have to set the vertical alignment to "Top" on both of the cells - then it works like wot you would expect
